Art 5-1 Consumer Rights

All products are covered by the Legal Guarantee of Compliance provided by articles 128-135 of the Consumer Code.

The legal guarantee of compliance is provided by the Code of Consumption (Articles 128 and ss.) and protects the consumer in the case of the purchase of defective products, which do not malfunction or do not respond to the use declared by the seller or to which that asset is generally intended. The consumer may assert his rights to the legal guarantee of compliance by contacting the seller directly of the asset, even if it is different from the manufacturer. In the presence of a compliance defect, the consumer is entitled, of his choice, to the repair or replacement of the defective property by the seller, without charge of charges, unless the remedy requested is impossible or excessively burdensome respect to the other. If replacement or repair is not possible, the consumer is still entitled to the price reduction or to have a sum, commensurate with the value of the asset, in return to the seller of the defective product. The legal guarantee lasts two years after the delivery of the property and must be enforced by the consumer within two months of the discovery of the defect.

Art 5-2 Terms
The consumer waives the rights of Article 5-1 if he does not report the compliance defect to the seller within two months of the date he discovered the defect
